How it works
- Set the range or pick a grade. Type the start and the end (from −1000 to 1000) and what to count by: 1, 2, 5, 10 or 100, decimals (0.1, 0.25, 0.5) or fractions (1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/8). Or tap a preset: K 0–10, grade 1 0–20 or 0–100 by 10, grade 2 skip counting by 5, grade 3 fourths from 0 to 1, grade 6 −10 to 10.
- Choose the practice. Leave some numbers out (about 1 in 4, about half, or only the ends shown), show the jump with an addition or subtraction under each line, plot lettered points, or place fractions between the whole numbers. Every line is different, Shuffle again gives a new set, and the answer key is always the last page; the Download button counts it (“1 page + key”).
- Download the PDF and print. Ticks fit the page in whole sixteenths of an inch, or sit exactly 1 in, 1/2 in or 1 cm apart, so the sheet measures true on US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) or A4 [210 × 297 mm] printed at 100% (“Actual size”). Up to six lines a page, arrows, bold lines and a NAME / DATE line. Free, no sign-up, no watermark.
Tips by grade
- Teachers, kindergarten and first grade: 0 to 10 or 0 to 20 with about 1 in 4 numbers missing, two or three lines a page in landscape; the next day, switch to about half missing with the same Practice no. for the same lines.
- Teachers, second grade: skip count by 5 to 100 with “Only the ends shown”, then Show the jump for adding tens and fives.
- Teachers, third grade fractions: 0 to 1 by 1/4 with fractions unsimplified (2/4, not 1/2) for equivalence talk, or 0 to 3 by 1/2 with Where is the fraction? for placing fractions greater than 1.
- Teachers, sixth grade integers: −10 to 10 with Show the jump makes adding and subtracting negatives visual; Plot the point fits temperature and elevation problems.
- Parents and tutors: print one sheet and its key, check the answers together, then Shuffle again for a fresh set at the same level.
- Tutors, measuring and graphing: 1 in or 1 cm a tick makes the line a ruler too. For graphing on both axes, print graph paper with axis or a numbered coordinate plane.
